Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived to a musical family 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter of the singer Dionne. In Newark, Whitney began singing with the church choir as a small child. at the age of 15, she accompanied her mother singing background vocals on Chaka's smash Im Every Woman from 1978. In the year 1981, she worked as a fashion model and appeared on the Seventeen cover. She also provided backing vocals to Lou Rawls and Jermaine. Beginning in 1981, she started singing with the New York-based funk group Material. The band's quality vocal performance with this group that caught notice of major record companies including Arista. Whitney Houston's debut Whitney Houston album was released in 1985. It would become one of the top-selling albums of an artist. Her album featured several hits like How Will I Know You Give Good Love, Saving All My Love For you and The Greatest Love of All. It helped her achieve seven US chart-topping singles consecutively, a feat that surpasses the Beatles. Album was sold out in US 3,000,000 copies before it went to 25,000,000 globally. It earned her the first in the six Grammy Awards she has won. The Whitney 1987 release, with Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as popular songs, was a way to build on the success she had achieved. However, the 1992 movie The Bodyguard sealed her spot among the top-selling musicians ever. The film itself as well as the performance of her on screen were not widely praised the soundtrack album and her version to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made charts for albums and singles for months, and was sold at 44 million copies across the globe. In the same year, she got married to the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she has a single child Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993. At this point, her documented drug use started and in 1996, the singer had been using drugs on a daily basis.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting and political reporter for CNN. She also produces some of the network's weekend programs such for instance Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels before, including NBC and CBS. Bash has been awarded the Women in Washington Power List award in Elle magazine. With her amazing anchoring and reportage skills she is admired by young journalists in the industry. Personally, the graduate of George Washington University is a doting mother to her only son. She has been married twice and is currently a single. Bash who is a strong and independent woman loves her fans wholeheartedly.
