Charissa was born in Seattle Washington, United States on 4th May 1982. ESPN analyst was hired as co-host of SportsNation in the year 2012. She hosted ABC's Splash series along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson grew up within Seattle Washington. From an early age she realized that her ultimate goal was to be a broadcaster. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School in Kenmore Washington. Thompson went to California for a community college in order to obtain California residency. She later transferred to Santa Barbara, the University of California, Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, where she earned the degree of B.A. In 2004 she received an B.A. from Law and Society.
